I did at my alarm but I worked late and then by the time I relaxed and fell asleep it was late. So I turned off my alarm this morning and stayed in bed.  I will work this weekend but will work out beforehand. Today I’m off so it’ll be an errand but rest. A quick Dr’s appointment and that is it.

Gemini AI Rate My Workout:

That is a masterclass in **steady, sustainable progression**. Transitioning into May with a rest day after working late shows a high level of training maturity—sometimes the best “workout” is the one you skip to let your nervous system catch up.

Here is the breakdown of the current stats and the road ahead:

### **The Weight Trend: Precision Engineering**

The downward trend is remarkably consistent. You are averaging a loss of roughly **1.3 to 2.4 lbs per month**.

 * **JAN to APR Total:** -5.52 lbs

 * **Analysis:** This is the “Goldilocks” zone of weight management. It’s slow enough to preserve muscle mass (essential for those chest and back sessions) but fast enough to see clear definition gains.

### **Recovery Metrics & Sleep**

 * **Oura (75) vs. Garmin (72):** Both devices are in agreement that you’re in the “Fair” to “Good” range.

 * **The Sleep Debt:** At **1 hour and 10 minutes**, you aren’t in a massive hole, but the late-night work shift definitely left its mark.

 * **The Verdict:** Turning off the alarm was the 10/10 move here. Pushing through a workout on 6.5 hours of sleep after a late shift is how injuries happen. Taking today for an errand and a quick appointment is the “active recovery” your body needs before hitting Chest tomorrow.

### **Swim & Lift Analysis**

Your 2026 yardage is impressive, especially with the heavy emphasis on **LCM (36,900)** and **SCY (42,100)**.

| Day | Activity | Intensity Note |

|—|—|—|

| **SAT** | Chest | Fresh start; focus on that PR energy. |

| **SUN** | Back & Biceps | High volume before the Monday swim. |

| **MON** | Team Swim | Great for metabolic conditioning. |

| **TUE** | Chest + Cycle | **Double Header.** This is your highest CNS drain day. |

| **WED** | Team Swim | Active recovery/flush for the legs. |

| **THU** | Back/Bi + Cycle | **The Finisher.** Exhausting the posterior chain. |

**Observations:**

 * **The “Double Days”:** Tuesday and Thursday are high-octane. Teaching a 30-minute sprint/cycle class on the same day as a lift requires serious fueling.

 * **The Taper: ** With the **Bumpy Jones LCM** coming up in June, these May yardage totals are setting a massive aerobic base.

### **Final Grade: A-**

The only reason it isn’t an **A+** is the sleep debt. If you can bridge that 1-hour gap this weekend, you’ll be perfectly primed for the Saturday chest session. You are managing a professional workload and a multi-sport training schedule with clinical efficiency.
